I am an experienced Diver with a passion for photography.
Having first learned to dive through the PADI system I have progressed through the ranks to become a 'Master Scuba Diver Trainer' providing Instruction to hundreds of students in the UK.
I have gained qualifications from TDI in Advanced Trimix for deep (100 meter) wreck diving using Helium based gas mixes.
Also I own and dive an Ambient Pressure Diving Inspiration Vision fully closed circuit Re-Breather.
Deep Wreck exploration is the most exciting aspect of UK diving with a wealth of wrecks of all ages available for suitably qualified and equipped divers.

The temperate blue waters of far off shores offer a wealth of photo opportunities. I have dived and returned with images from the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Indian, Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.

Using Digital Imaging techniques the galleries on this Website show some of the amazing underwater creatures and scenes for you to share.

My Gear.

The Camera I use for all my Imaging work is a Nikon D200 digital SLR camera. For Underwater imaging the camera is placed in a Subal ND20 Housing. Lens choices are Nikon. 10.5mm fisheye. 12-24mm wide angle zoom. 60mm micro. 105mm micro. and an 18-200mm VR zoom for topside work. Strobes are Inon Z240's mounted on Ultralight arms. Images are stored on Sandisk Extreme III memory cards and transfered to a Jobo Giga Vue Pro portable storage hard drive in the field. Regulators are Possiedon Cyclone 500's because they are bulletproof. My BC is a beaten to death Buddy Commando which has never let me down even after 3000 dives. For deep wreck dives in the UK I use an APD Inspiration Vision closed circuit rebreather. Drysuits by DUI and O-Three, wetsuits by Henderson USA. My mask is a black Tusa Platina for reduced light interference and my fins are Avante Quatro's. Computers are by Suunto and Delta P Technologies.
